Ebony and bearclaw spruce 00 #19016
This is truly a unique and beautiful, one of a kind acoustic guitar. The comfortable 00 sized body combines African (Gabon) ebony back and sides with an amazing torrefied Engelmann spruce top that sports wonderful bearclaw figure. Featuring multiple distinctive sound holes along the upper bout, this guitar sets itself apart from anything you’re likely to see elsewhere. The guitar rings with a tone that’s bright and clear, nicely balanced, and with a surprisingly strong bottom end. If you’re searching for a guitar that sounds great, plays wonderfully, and makes a statement that will set you apart from the others, look no further. Have a listen to Ottawa based singer / songwriter / guitarists Don Bray, Terry Tufts, and Greg Kelly playing this lovely Bounsall guitar.

Here’s what Terry Tufts had to say…

“Today I got to play one of Andy’s newest guitars, a steel string with a mahogany neck and ebony BACK AND SIDES. I spotted. First off, this guitar LOOKS outfreakin’standing. You can fall right into the black of the sides and back (thank you Douglas Adams). Secondly and most importantly, it sounds wonderful and unlike anything I’ve ever heard. The top is bear claw spruce and has a moving pattern to the grain when you tilt the guitar. It looks like……I can’t describe it accurately – I can’t do it justice. It shimmers in 2D. No other guitar on earth looks, feels, or sounds like this. It is a VERY RARE BIRD.”

”One of the most individual looking, sounding, and feeling guitars I’ve ever played in my life.”
