Figured sapele dreadnought
#23030
Big, bold, and beautiful. That’s what comes to mind when you first see, and then hear, this stunning slope shouldered dreadnought. From the striking bear claw Sitka spruce top to the wonderfully figured sapele back and sides and the lovely cocobolo fretboard and bridge, this guitar really has it going-on in the looks department. Peer in through the sound hole and you’ll notice the carbon fibre rods that stiffen and strengthen the upper end of the body, resisting the constant pull of the strings and helping to eliminate the need for a future neck reset. Now strum a chord or two. Go on. Dig in a bit. The guitars full, robust voice won’t disappoint. Try some gentler finger picking too and you’ll discover the guitars softer side, its responsiveness and dynamic range, and the way each note just rings out. Wow, what a guitar. What a guitar!
