Wenge 12 fret single 0
#25037
A small bodied concert size guitar, this little gem delivers an amazingly warm, full tone with crisp highs and plenty of sustain to go along with its stunning good looks. The body is Wenge, a dense African hardwood known for its deep rich chocolate brown and black colouring. Tonally, many have compared Wenge to Brazilian rosewood, the holy grail of acoustic tonewoods. In striking contrast, the top is torrefied, or thermally modified, Englemann spruce with gorgeous breaclaw figure. Englemann spruce is well known for its ability to respond well to a lighter touch making it ideal for fingerstyle use and light strumming. A side sound port in the upper bout helps direct sound towards the player. Internally, a pair of carbon fibre rods form a buttress on the neck block to stiffen and reinforce the structure against string tension. The Sipo mahogany neck features an ebony fretboard with piano-key fret markers and a slotted headstock fitted with Waverly open gear tuners. A fantastic little guitar with killer looks and sound to match.
